For the month of June we are featuring "Divine Love" from the Lightning Returns OST!
**Thank you Angelic-yunie for suggesting this month's featured track!**

I apologize for missing the month of May. It was a rather slow month for news, as is this month.

(¯`·-..· Divine Love ·..-·´¯)

Divine Love is the theme that plays for the first half of the final boss battle in Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII.

*SPOILERS AHEAD* Divine Love is the first of two boss battle themes with the game's final boss: the God of Light, Bhunivelze. During the first half, Lightning must overcome 3 out of Bhunivelze's 4 forms. The theme Divine Love puts music to the grandure of Bhunivelze, and sets the tone for the battle ahead -- really driving home the fact that you are trying to defeat an immortal, all-powerful God. It also brings a sense of desperation to Lightning's situation. She is literally humanity's last hope. If she does not overcome Bhunivelze, it will have all been for nothing. *SPOILERS END HERE*

Divine Love, and the track that follows, are two of my absolute favorites on the Lightning Returns OST. They are truly excellent final boss battle themes that completely draw you into the game.

How do you feel about this song? Do you like it? Did it have an effect on you? Leave a comment with your opinion on the song!

--RECENT NEWS IN FINAL FANTASY--

:bulletpink: Final Fantasy IX was officially released on Steam on April 14. It can be bought for $20.99 USD and includes Hi-def cutscenes and character models. It also includes several game boosters, including a no-encounters mode for you gamers who want more story and less level grinding.

Steam page: store.steampowered.com/app/377…

Are you excited about playing FFIX for PC and relive the memories with these new features? What do you think about the no-encounters mode?

:bulletpink: If you're like me and you haven't turned on your copy of Lightning Returns in a while, it is important to note that Outerworld Services have been closed. If you were someone who used the Outerworld Services, this means you will no longer be able to make posts to social networks like Facebook or Twitter through the game, interact with Outerworld NPCs, or obtain Outerworld rewards (though if you've already gotten those rewards, you have nothing to worry about!) This change comes a little over 2 years after the game's release.
Are you surprised by the closing of Outerworld Services? Did you actively use the feature when you played the game?

:bulletpink: Final Fantasy Brave Exvius, which was an iOS/Android game exclusively released in Japan in October 2015, will be seeing a worldwide release some time this summer in the App Store and Google Play. Because this has had an exlusive release in Japan, very little news has been released about it internationally. It seems to be in a style similar to the original 8-bit games. It also looks like several familiar faces will become available to recruit in your party, such as Terra, Kuja, Cecil, Shadow, and more. The app is available for Pre-registration right now. Pre-registering will grant you special items to use when the game is available for download.

What are your thoughts and initial impression of this game?

:bulletpink: Want to play that delicious Final Fantasy X|X-2 HD Remaster? Don't have a PS3, PS4, or PSVita? No problem! The Final Fantasy X|X-2 HD Remaster is available to buy on Steam. Similar to FFIX, it offers a no-encounters mode for those story junkies. There is also the option to choose which version of the soundtrack is used (this is consistent on all platforms) and and option for Japanese audio. You can own this game on PC for $29.99 USD (keep in mind, this is a 2-game bundle after all).

:bulletpink: FRESH OFF THE PRESS -- Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age (an HD remaster of Final Fantasy XII) was announced just yesterday (June 6). It is set for a 2017 release on PS4. It will feature the International Zodiac Job System, which was never actually released internationally, as well as a re-recorded sountrack, faster load times, and improved graphics and audio -- though don't expect a complete overhaul like Final Fantasy X|X-2. The models look to be the same, just sharper and crisper compared to the compressed quality that most PS2 graphics suffered.

What are your thoughts on FFXII: The Zodiac Age? Are you excited for this upcoming remaster?

:bulletpink: A new, upcoming game, World of Final Fantasy, is set to be released internationally on October 25, 2016. This is an adorable looking game full of chibi-versions of all our favorite Final Fantasy characters -- voice acting and all. Imagine your favorites morphed into little POP! Vinyl-like figures. The summary of the game is as follows:

Lead the twins Lann and Reynn on their journey to rediscover their lost memories and save the world of Grimoire from peril as they band together with familiar faces from the Final Fantasy franchise in an epic and adorable adventure for a new generation of players!

What do you think about World of Final Fantasy and it's tiny little heroes? Would you play the game if given the chance?
