Please make sure you're familiar with our FAQ when it comes to submitting artwork to the group!  This is what keeps our group organized and friendly for ALL USERS, so please be considerate and READ:

FAQ1) Who can submit and where? (Added 5/13/14)
Admins, members, and non-members can submit artwork here!
The most important rule here is to submit the work into the CORRECTLY LABELED folder! We currently have over 3,400 pieces in our gallery and that number grows by the day so we must stay extremely organized! You can save us a huge amount of time by submitting pieces into the correct folder! Now that we have given users the ability to submit into specific folders, there is NO EXCUSE. Any submissions submitted in the incorrect category will automatically be declined.

2) What kind of art can I submit?
You can submit Final Fantasy artwork only. We will not accept pieces that contain characters outside of the Final Fantasy series. We do NOT accept Kingdom Hearts artwork; that is completely independe

Here's how each monthly feature will go: I'll have the title of the song, along with the song itself for you to enjoy. Underneath, I will describe what this song means to me and how it affects me, plus I'll add in any fun facts about the piece.

For the month of July, we are featuring a piece from Lightning Returns!

(¯`·-..· The Last Surviving Wilderness ·..-·´¯)

"The Last Surviving Wilderness" plays when Lightning is first introduced to The Wildlands. It is a true call to nature, encapsulating the power and grandure of the wilderness. It is all at once light-hearted, foreboding, and majestic -- fitting the overall impression of The Wildlands. It is a composition that lets you know that this is not anything like the lands you have explored before -- almost as vast as Gran Pulse itself. It is one of my personal favorites from the soundtrack (among others, but my other favorites span 10+ minutes.)

How do you feel about this song? Do you like it? Did it have an effect on you? Leave a comment with your opinion on the song!

:bulletpink: If you fans of the Final Fantasy XIII trilogy are not already aware, the famous Famitsu magazine in Japan has been releasing a special little written series that covers the lives of the characters post-Lightning Returns; a "where are they now?" treat you could say. Split up into 10 "episodes", they are still in the midst of releasing them. For our Japanese readers, you can read them now on Famitsu's website:

:bulletpink: A fan localization of Final Fantasy Type-0 was released at the beginning of June. You can still download it for PSP here: www.skybladecloud.net/projects… **But download at your own risk. I have not verified if this is a safe download or not.

:bulletpink: If you're not looking to get the fan localization of Type-0, then start saving for a PS4! It was announced in our last journal as breaking news, but we'll repeat it: Final Fantasy Type-0 will be getting HD treatment and, along with Final Fantasy Agito, it will be released for the PS4.

:bulletpink: SquareEnix has announced an upcoming smartphone mobile racer called "Final Fantasy VII G Bike", similar to the one played in the original. It is expected to make its release later this fall. Supposedly more games from the Gold Saucer have plans to make their mobile debut.

:bulletpink: A new game planned for the Nintendo 3DS has been announced: Final Fantasy Explorers. There is not a lot of information about the game yet, but you can read a little more about it at the Final Fantasy wiki: finalfantasy.wikia.com/wiki/Fi…

:bulletpink: The 2.4 patch for Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn will come with a new class/job: the Rogue class and the Ninja job. These boast high speeds, less fall damage, stealth ability, and more.
