For the month of July we are once again celebrating Final Fantasy VII now that an official announcement has been made for the long-awaited Final Fantasy VII REMAKE! (Link to the trailer is in the news section below!)
I also want to make a quick note that dreamweaver5560 and I will be making a trip to visit LadyArtsy, so your Founders will be meeting in person once again!

This month we are featuring a live performance of Final Fantasy VII's Opening Theme, Bombing Mission from Distant Worlds! With all the hype surrounding the remake of the game, listening to the music from Final Fantasy VII really evokes some serious nostalgia. The Opening Theme, Bombing Mission track is the the first thing you hear at the start of the game, throwing you into the midst of a rebellion. Little did we all know when we started this game, that there were bigger and more dangerous threats out there than just Shinra's manufacturing of Mako.

--RECENT NEWS IN FINAL FANTASY--
Final Fantasy Agito is expected to be released for Windows 10 later this year. No official date has been released yet. Bartz Klauser and Squall Leonhart have been announced to return to Dissidia Final Fantasy Arcade, joining the Warrior of Light, the Onion Knight, Terra Branford, Cloud Strife, Lightning, and Y'shtola.
Fans living in Europe are now able to purchase reprints of Final Fantasy VII Vinyl (originally printed at the end of 2013). At the moment, there is an unknown number being reprinted. For those of you who do not yet have a PS4, there is good news! Final Fantasy Type-0 HD will be released on PC via Steam later this year.Link: store.steampowered.com/app/340…
Though Lightning Returns was due for it's PC release in Spring 2015 and was never released, SquareEnix has stated on Twitter that it is still coming to PC via Steam. The company has said that they aim for a Fall 2015 release, but cannot confirm a release date. No reason has been given as to why Lighting Returns was not released by its earlier date. Final Fantasy XV is seeing some changes. Stella Nox Fleuret has been replaced by Lunareya Nox Fleuret (in my opinion, I see no reason why they had to change her name or "replace" her considering the appearance hasn't even changed much) because Stella did not fit into the reworked story.You can read about this as well as some other small changes here: gematsu.com/2015/06/final-fant…
Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions is finally released for Androids. You can purchase the game on Google Play for $13.99.Link: play.google.com/store/apps/det…
And last, but definitely not least, the Final Fantasy VII remake was announced at E3, showing a teaser trailer giving us a view of Midgar, as well as a brief view Barret and Cloud. In the trailer, another little treat is revealed as well: Tetsuya Nomura will be directing the remake! He has stated that the remake will be more than just a facelift of pretty graphics. It is reported that he has expressed interest in possibly updating the battle system as well as adjust the story slightly -- possibly to clear up some plot holes in the original (please refer to this old VGCats comic for at least 2 examples: www.vgcats.com/comics/?strip_i… ). Apologies For Lack of Updates
Hello to all our lovely members! I apologize for not having any updates since November. For one, there hasn't been too terribly much going on in the way of major Final Fantasy news. For two, there's been a lot in real life that I've had to concentrate on, and it left little time to write up journal entries.
I'll try to make a new update and song feature some time this month, I hope.
