Here's how each monthly feature will go: I'll have the title of the song, along with the song itself for you to enjoy. Underneath, I will describe what this song means to me and how it affects me, plus I'll add in any fun facts about the piece.

First, I want to sincerely apologize for not updating this journal for April, especially after missing February as well. I have personal reasons to blame for that. For the month of May we are once again honoring Final Fantasy X since the HD Remaster will be available worldwide for PS4 later this month.

(¯`·-..· A Fleeting Dream ·..-·´¯)

We've chosen to feature one of the remastered tracks from X's HD Remaster soundtrack: A Fleeting Dream. This updated version offers a slightly softer tone to the Suteki Da Ne melody that is heard, yet still evokes the same sense that you are nearing the end of a journey. Personally, this is one of my favorite tracks, especially because as you run through Zanarkand and closer to your party's fate, it overrides the usual battle theme so you are not thrown out of the mood that the events have set up. I get goosebumps whenever I hear this because I replay those scenes in my head and recall all the fond memories I have for this game.

How do you feel about this song? Do you like it? Did it have an effect on you? Leave a comment with your opinion on the song!
